Blizzard Bags

Here is the link for all of the assignments: MSMS Blizzard Bags.  Please keep in mind the basic directions:

1) You MUST complete 4 out of the 5 listed assignments (ELA, math, social studies, science, field trip).

2) The week of May 4th will be a check-in point.  You should have at least half of your assignments completed by then.

3) All work needs to be completed by June 1st!


Language Arts 4/27

1) Begin writing your speech.  Each person of your group is responsible for writing a three-minute speech.  Be sure to go over the outline together as a group so that people don't repeat key points.  Speeches should be completed by Wednesday of this week.

2) Debates will begin next Tuesday.  Please make sure your group is on track to complete your work by then.

3) Finish reading your book.  I will be giving you the writing assignment for the book next week.

1) Read your independent reading book.  You should be 1/4 of the way through by the end of the week.  Bring it to school the rest of the week for some reading in class and during reading blocks.

2) Continue doing research for your group.  By now you should be finished with all the research you need for your constructive speeches.  Now is the time to research what your opponents will say and how you can dispute it in your rebuttal.

Tonight's homework is to create 5 word problems that are similar to the ones found on page 20 in your Force, Motion and Energy Books. Make sure you show ALL of your work and provide answers for your problems. Be original and be NEAT.

Additionally,
Create 2 different sentences using the word "Tendency", make sure your sentences show your understanding for the meaning of the word.
