Tuesday March 17th 2015 SCIENCE

I am still accepting Lego Donations for my Robotics Club for extra credit.

Also the 6 part story board cartoon about Sir Isaac Newtons Life should be handed in pretty soon to boost any ones Heat Test or Quiz Grade up.

Tonight you should complete questions 1-19 on pages 62 and 63. (the work that should have been done yesterday in class while I was out)

In addition,
make sure you have hard copies of the Earth/ MCAS BrainPops for Friday.

Language Arts 3/16

1) Look over your notes from Act I for the in-class writing prompt you will have tomorrow.  The prompt is ONLY on ACT I!!! You are not allowed to use any information from other parts of the play. Also, you will need to use several of your vocabulary words in your prompt.  Be sure to study!!

2) You should be half way done with your novel by the start of next week.  Be sure to bring your book each day this week and next to read during class and after PARCC.

Science Wed March 11th 2015

Tonight's homework is to finish the lab by completing the ANALYSIS and CONCLUSION part of the lab report.

Here is the break down;

Data- Simply put the results.  How many Newtons did it take to move each object. 

ANALYSIS-  First explain any problems and their solutions if you had any. 
Second- Mention how friction and the varied surfaces influenced different results.
Third- Somehow incorporate NEWTONS 2nd Law of Motion into this lab.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COVER PAGE!!


HAND IN HARD COPY BY THURSDAY, AND MAKE IT NICE BECAUSE THIS WILL BE DISPLAYED AT OPEN HOUSE NEXT MONTH!

1) Do vocabulary two-column notes on the first five words of your new vocabulary list.  You can just use a regular sheet of paper.  Draw a line from top to bottom of the page to separate the paper so that the left side is about 1/3 of the space, and the right side is about 2/3 of the space.
