Science Homework

Tonight create a lab experiment. YOU ARE THE TEACHER. 

Basically recreate the lab we did today EXCEPT make it about water.

Include- 

  1. a prompt much like the one we did today on Google Classroom
  2. list of materials
  3. how much of each material
  4. a procedure--LOTS OF DETAILS
  5. 4 follow up questions, similar to the ones you answered in class today.

1) Read "Chanclas" (pages 71-72) and answer the following question:
Compare the narrator in "Chanclas" to another character from one of the stories we have already read.  Describe how these characters are similar (personality, physical description, situation/conflict, family, etc.) How are these characters different?

1) Be ready for the vocabulary quiz tomorrow.  You will be asked to fill in the blank with the vocabulary word that best completes each sentence.

2) Read "Mother and Daughter" (pages 63 - 67). On the same document/sheet of paper from your other homework questions, answer questions 1-5, 8 and 10 in complete sentences. 

3) If you did not select an independent reading book today in the library (or got one on your own this past weekend) please make sure to get a book and begin reading by Friday.
