Paint Can Lab

Title- Paint Can Crush Lab
Purpose- To observe the power of atmospheric pressure
Hypothesis- I think after the water is steaming inside the paint can when it goes in the ice bath the can will...... BECAUSE.....
Materials-  list the mnaterials
Procedure- Be `very clear and be sure to include safety procedures as wel
Data/Observation- How long did uit take for it to sizzle? Steam? Crush?  What did it look and sound like?
Analysis- Scientifically what happened and why? INclude before and after pics. INCLUDE ESSENTIAL VOCAB and key points SUCH AS;

  1. Pressure
  2. Increase/Decrease
  3. Atmospheric Pressure 14.7psi
  4. Arrows indicating the difference of pressure from the inside of the can VS the outside 
  5. Explain the movement of the molecules before and after the crush
