Language Arts 4/28

1) Finish your research over the weekend. You should have at least 2 sources and many facts/statistics/examples/case studies etc. WITH SOURCES for EACH of your two reasons. For Monday's class, you should be completely finished with your research! 

2) READ!!

3) Study the new list of vocabulary words that I handed out today in class. There will be a quiz on these terms next Friday.  *You may find some of these terms very useful when writing your speech ;)

A) At least 2 facts/statistics/case studies to prove your first reason. These must be written or typed to receive credit.

B) At least one reliable source for your reason - bring in the website name and address.

1) READ!! You should be at least halfway through with your book by tomorrow!  Remember to keep a list of all the times the diverse trait affects the character's life. I will be checking your list tomorrow for homework credit!!

2) Continue thinking about and researching your debate topic.  Remember what we talked about today during class - make sure the site is reliable and UNBIASED!!!!! Bring any sites/information to class tomorrow for your group.

                   WELCOME BACK!!!

2) Pick your top three debate topics!  Based off of the brainstorm we did in class, figure out what your top three picks are.  We will be selecting debate topics and teams tomorrow in class.  I will post the list of topics that your class brainstormed in Google Classroom at the end of the day.
