Language Arts 1/19

1) Ask your parents/guardians how they feel about jury duty.  Ask if they have ever had experience on a jury. HAVE A CONVERSATION (maybe throw in a vocabulary word or two!)!!!!!

2) Begin looking for a new independent reading book.  For this assignment, you need to pick a book that has been turned into a movie.  It is okay if you have already seen the movie, BUT it must be a book you have never read.  You must have your book by next Wednesday!
